What's Hot and What's Not Big Korea Style:
Heh, so I thought it would only be fitting that I add some pop culture on my site about what's hot and what's not in Seoul/Korea. I thought you guys might be into what music is poppin out here, as well as styles! Okay well, hope this isn't boring, but yeah have fun with it!
So, I guess it won't let me inbed it into the post itself, but the videos are posted under my videos section. You have to check out Big Bang who is HUUUUUGE here in Korea, especially their song "I'm sorry but I love you". In addition some of the guys in this group are soooooo hot, and the song is actually super catchy haha. Man, Korean guys can be sooo beautiful, too bad a lot of these pops stars are really contrived by the industry, way more so than in the states. I actually met a guy signed by one of the two major lables here and he was telling about all the scandals and crazy things that they make everyone do, namley: sleep with heads of major corporations here to get money. I hear that once you get signed, (which apparently isn't that hard due to the fact they are eager to sign everyone 6 year contracts to prevent the other major lable from stealing you in case you actually have talent) that they start pouring money into you, and you then have "repay them" by sleeping with top dogs. Pretty much every pop star with the exception of like 2 have slept with major players in the field, as well as the known VP, or Pres of Hyundai, err something like that. Interestingly enough it goes for both genders.
So yeah, if you guys want to know more about it, I can post about it, but I'm pretty tired at the moment, and I will just like run down the list of things that are popular here. Oh yeah, as a preface, Korean videos are HYSTERICAL. They usually follow the themes of:
Someone dying (the norm)
Going blind
Getting hit by a car
pretty much like death in general.
